Laojia yi lu

old frame, first path

Laojia means old frame and describes the earliest known forms of Chen style tai-chi chuan. Yi lu means first path, meaning the first form learned in the system. The laojia yi lu is one of the oldest known tai-chi forms and is believed to be the form that all the entry level sets of all the major styles have been developed from.
